Family Service Centres

About Family Service Centres

Family Service Centres (FSCs) are based in the community to provide help and support to individuals and families in need. They are staffed by social service professionals.

Working closely with these individuals and families, FSCs help them to better cope with their personal, social and emotional challenges in their lives.

There are 47 FSCs located in HDB towns around Singapore.
FSCs are run by Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) and supported by:
  • Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)
  • National Council of Social Service (NCSS)
  • Singapore Totalisator Board

Mission and Objectives

FSCs play a key role in building strong and stable families in Singapore.

FSCs are open to all families and individuals:
  • Regardless of age, race, language or religion
  • At different life stages (couples, families with young children, adolescents and elderly members)
  • Of various family types
