ComCare may be able to help if you:

want to work but have difficulty finding a job

have a monthly household income of $1,700 and below, or a per capita income of $550

have little or no family support, savings or assets to rely on for your daily needs

are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (at least one immediate family member in the same household must be a Singapore Citizen)
You may receive:

Cash assistance or vouchers to pay rent, utilities and/or service and conservancy charges payments
Monthly cash grant
Education assistance for school-going children
Medical assistance
The length of assistance you receive depends on your situation. It lasts 3 to 6 months at one time, capped at a total of 24 months.
An SSO Officer will work out an action plan for you and your household to follow. The plan will help your household become independent eventually and no longer require assistance.
The plan may include the following activities:
Finding and keeping a job
Increasing work hours
Upgrading your skills
Reducing unnecessary expenses
You will need to sign a Letter of Undertaking to show that you are committed to cooperating with the SSO officer and following the action plan.
You will need to meet your SSO officer regularly to discuss your progress.
